Japan Protests South Korean Research Activity Near Takeshima
The Japanese government has lodged a strong protest with South Korea after a South Korean research vessel was observed conducting what appeared to be marine surveys within Japan's exclusive economic zone (EEZ) west of Takeshima (Dokdo) without consent.
