Ghanaian Agric Minister laments beneficiaries consuming 'Nkoko Nkitinkiti' birds

Ghana's Minister for Food and Agriculture, Eric Opoku, expressed disappointment that some beneficiaries of the government's 'Nkoko Nkitinkiti' program consumed the birds they received instead of rearing them for commercial production. He noted that some even sent him videos of the birds being eaten.
