EU's 'Chat Control' Legislation Extended Until 2028 Despite Opposition
Europarliamentarians have approved the extension of the controversial 'Chat Control 1.0' legislation until April 2028, despite more MEPs voting against it than for it. Opponents, however, celebrated a partial success due to specific rules of the second reading.
