A briefly declared “security threat” which was announced at the United Kingdom’s Akrotiri air force base shortly before 4.30pm was declared to be over five minutes later. The threat was the second of its kind to be declared on Thursday, with both having been stated to be “concluded” within minutes of their announcement.
