Romanian Legislative Initiative Seeks to Amend Citizenship Law for Foreign Spouses

Romanian Diaspora parliamentarians Iulian Lorincz and Cătălin Bochileanu have submitted a legislative initiative to radically modify the Romanian Citizenship Law. The proposed changes would grant foreign citizens married to Romanians the right to apply for Romanian citizenship, even if they do not reside in Romania.
