Center-Right Candidate Cannizzaro Wins Reggio Calabria Mayoral Election

The center-right candidate Cannizzaro has won the mayoral election in Reggio Calabria in the first round, taking control of the municipality from the center-left after 12 years. Cannizzaro is a loyalist of Calabrian Governor Occhiuto and a Forza Italia vice-group leader.
