Qatari Diar has launched the initial phase of its $29.7 billion Alam Al-Roum project on Egypt's North Coast, following a partnership agreement signed in November 2025 with Egypt’s New Urban Communities Authority. The project aims to develop the Samla and Alam Al-Roum areas in Matrouh Governorate.
