China Expands Public Service Access for Migrant Workers
China has moved to ease residency restrictions, known as hukou, to allow migrant workers better access to social insurance where they work, aiming to expand coverage and strengthen labor protections nationwide. The country is also expanding public service access for migrant workers, further integrating them into urban social systems.
