Fusion Firm Gets Major Monetary Boost

Commonwealth Fusion Systems has raised around $4 billion in order to work toward commercializing fusion energy, that's about 30% of the total capital raised by the fusion industry to-date, according to CFS. In explaining on Bloomberg Businessweek what fusion is, the company's CEO Bob Mumgaard says the goal "is to build a machine that can make this reaction go at very vigorous amounts of energy at an industrial scale."
