Czech Court Acquits Prison Guards Accused of Assaulting Inmate

A district court in Jablonec nad Nisou has acquitted three prison guards from Rýnovice prison who were accused of physically assaulting an inmate, stating that the prosecution failed to prove the incident occurred as described.

Okresní soud v Jablonci nad Nisou v úterý osvobodil tři dozorce z věznice v Rýnovicích. Podle obžaloby fyzicky napadli jednoho z vězňů. Podle soudu se neprokázalo, že by skutek stal tak, jak ho obžaloba popsala.
