Czech Court Upholds Community Service for Tram Driver in Conflict with Ukrainian Couple

A court has confirmed 200 hours of community service for Daniel Bejvl, a former tram driver, following a conflict with a Ukrainian couple last year. He is also required to undergo a social training program and pay 55,000 CZK in compensation to the couple.

Danielu Bejvlovi za loňský konflikt s cestujícím ukrajinským párem potvrdil soud 200 hodin obecně prospěšných prací. Bývalý řidič tramvaje musí také podstoupit program sociálního výcviku a páru uhradit odškodné 55 tisíc korun. Rozhodnutí odvolacího Městského soudu v Praze je pravomocné. Bejvl v minulosti vinu popřel, úterní rozhodnutí nekomentoval.
