Czech General Practitioners to Prescribe More Medications from July

Starting in July, general practitioners in the Czech Republic will be authorized to prescribe over 1,000 additional medications that previously required a specialist's prescription. Health Minister Adam Vojtěch announced this change, which aims to improve patient access to care.

Pacientům od července budou moci více léků předepsat praktičtí lékaři. Půjde o více než 1000 přípravků, kvůli kterým dosud museli ke specialistovi. Na sociální síti X to v pondělí v podvečer uvedl ministr zdravotnictví Adam Vojtěch (za ANO). Požadavku praktických lékařů, který podpořili i zástupci lékařů specialistů, ministr vyjádřil podporu už v březnu na jejich kongresu.
