Czech Government Ends Fuel Price Regulation

The Czech government has decided not to extend its regulation of fuel prices, meaning price caps on petrol and diesel will expire on Sunday. From Monday, fuel prices will be determined solely by market mechanisms.

Cenové stropy pohonnných hmot budou platit naposledy v neděli, jelikož vláda v pondělí neprodloužila regulaci jejich cen. Od pondělí se ceny benzinu a nafty budou řídit pouze podle tržních mechanismů. Novinářům to po jednání kabinetu řekla ministryně financí Alena Schillerová (ANO).
