Czech 'Million Moments' Launches Petition and Plans March for Public Media

The Czech civic association 'Million Moments' has launched a petition titled 'Hands off the media' in support of Czech Television and Czech Radio, and is organizing a march in Prague for early May.

Spolek Milion chvilek na podporu České televize (ČT) a Českého rozhlasu (ČRo) v úterý večer zveřejnil podpisovou výzvu Ruce pryč od médií a na začátek května chystá v Praze pochod. Výzva během večera nasbírala přes 3800 podpisů. Vláda premiéra Babiše (ANO) chce podle spolku bez jakékoliv diskuse zničit systém financování veřejnoprávních médií, který fungoval desítky let a zaručoval nezávislost.
