Czech President Petr Pavel met with the Czech and Czechoslovak expatriate community in Argentina, which is the strongest in Latin America, estimated at around thirty thousand people.

V Argentině žije nejsilnější česká a československá krajanská komunita z celé Latinské Ameriky. Odhaduje se přibližně na třicet tisíc lidí. Mnoho Čechů a Slováků do jihoamerické země emigrovalo zejména od konce devatenáctého do poloviny dvacátého století. Argentinu úřadující český prezident nenavštívil patnáct let. Tento týden to napravuje Petr Pavel, který navštívil právě i krajany.
