Czech railway section to be officially closed after 143 years

The historic railway line around the old station in Mimoň will be officially decommissioned this October, marking the end of an era for rail fans who rode it for the last time on Sunday.

Fanoušci vlakové dopravy se mohli v neděli naposledy svézt po železniční trati kolem budovy starého nádraží v Mimoni na Českolipsku. Ministerstvo dopravy totiž rozhodlo, že kilometrová trať bude od letošního října oficiálně zrušena.
