Czech Republic is burning record heat. In Doksany it was 40.9 degrees. It will be hot on Sunday too.

After today, the Czech Republic has a new absolute temperature record. The fourteen-year-old maximum was surpassed in Doksany in the Litoměřice region, where it was 40.9 degrees according to the Czech Hydrometeorological Institute (ČHMÚ).

Česko má po dnešku nový absolutní teplotní rekord. Čtrnáct let staré maximum překonaly Doksany na Litoměřicku, kde bylo podle Českého hydrometeorologického ústavu (ČHMÚ) 40,9 stupně. V případě oficiálního potvrzení by to bylo o pět desetin více než předchozí rekord ze středočeských Dobřichovic.
