České tenistky Gabriela Knutsonová i Lucie Havlíčková letos měly na US Open svojí grandslamovou premiéru. Obě však vypadly v prvním kole s výsledkem 3:6 3:6. „Myslím, že hraju líp a líp a jsem výš a výš na žebříčku. Dalo mi to i nějaké spropitné, abych mohla s trenérem dále jezdit a hrát a tlačit do toho,“ říká Knutsonová pro Radiožurnál Sport.
