Czech town adapts greenery maintenance due to drought

The city council in Nový Bor, Czech Republic, has adapted its greenery maintenance practices due to early-season drought conditions. Lawns in the city center were the only ones mowed initially, with broader mowing resuming as soil moisture improved.

Radnice v Novém Boru na Českolipsku teprve tento týden zahájila plošnou seč trávníků. Zatím letos zahradníci sekali jen některé trávníky v centru. A to kvůli suchu na začátku sezony. Teď už se půda alespoň částečně nasytila vodou a sekačky mohou vyjet.
