Denmark Builds Artificial Island in Copenhagen to House 35,000 Residents

Denmark is constructing a 7 km long artificial island called Lynetteholm in Copenhagen by depositing 80 million tons of soil into the Baltic Sea. The project aims to protect the area from rising sea levels and provide housing for 35,000 inhabitants.
