Climate Change Forces Butterfly Species to Relocate in Europe

At least a tenth of European butterfly species have been forced to relocate due to climate change and intensive agriculture, according to a major international study.

Nejméně desetina druhů denních motýlů se musela přestěhovat. Důvodem je hlavně změna klimatu. V Evropě přispívá i intenzivní zemědělství, to plyne z velké mezinárodní studie ze 105 zemí světa, na které se podíleli i čeští badatelé. Jejím spoluautorem je Robert Tropek, entomolog z Přírodovědecké fakulty Univerzity Karlovy a Biologického centra Akademie věd.
