Russian Court Fines Nadezhdin for 'Extremist' Navalny Photo, Bans Election Participation

A Moscow Region Court has fined Russian politician Nadezhdin $13 for an 'extremist' photo of Alexei Navalny. The conviction means Nadezhdin is now banned from collecting signatures to appear on the ballot for State Duma elections this September.
