Assembly elections: Kerala, Assam, Puducherry record higher turnout than 2021
Kerala, Puducherry, and Assam witnessed increased voter turnout in their recent assembly elections compared to 2021. Puducherry recorded the highest at 89.20%, followed by Assam at 85.10%, and Kerala at 77.50%. Senior leaders, including chief ministers, cast their votes across the 126 seats in Assam, 140 in Kerala, and 30 in Puducherry, with vote counting scheduled for May 4.
