S. Korea's Kakao Mobility confidentially files for US listing
Kakao Mobility Corp., South Korea's taxi-hailing and mobility platform, is said to have confidentially filed for an initial public offering in the United States, according to a financial market tracker Thursday. The subsidiary of Kakao Corp., the operator of South Korea's popular messenger app service KakaoTalk, seeks to raise about $1 billion in the filing reportedly made in June, with Bank of America, Morgan Stanley and UBS listed as underwriters, a newsletter published by IPOX LLC on June 13
