ICE is chasing a 'body camera' August deadline for every officer & agent in field

US Immigration and Customs Enforcement will equip all field officers with body cameras by August. This expansion follows recent fatal shootings involving agency officers in July. The agency aims for increased transparency and accountability in its operations. However, policies may restrict public access to footage of serious incidents. This initiative will significantly expand visual records of immigration enforcement activities.
