The Supreme Court has taken over the Ayodhya Ram Mandir fund embezzlement investigation. Local police have been removed from the probe, which will now be led by a senior IPS officer. The Shri Ram Teerth Kshetra Trust must preserve all donation receipts and accounts for scrutiny. The court cautioned against politicizing the ongoing investigation into alleged fund pilferage. Eight individuals have already been arrested as the probe progresses impartially.
