UK Taxpayer Numbers in Higher Bands Rise Due to Fiscal Drag

The number of higher and additional rate taxpayers in the UK has increased by 35% over the past three years. Fiscal drag has contributed to 480,000 more people entering the top two tax bands in the last year alone.
