China and Central Asian Nations Launch Joint Satellite Constellation for Disaster Monitoring

China, in collaboration with Central Asian countries, has initiated the five-satellite Tianwu Constellation project, a joint effort for disaster monitoring under a technology pact signed at the Urumqi expo.
