FFXIV Director Details Plans to Sunset PS4 Version by Patch 8.3

The director of Final Fantasy XIV has outlined plans to gradually sunset the PlayStation 4 version of the game, with support estimated to last through Patch 8.3. While the next expansion and post-launch content will still come to PS4, the 13-year-old console is reaching its limits.
