MANILA, Philippines — Two individuals were arrested in Manila for allegedly selling pre-registered subscriber identity module (SIM) cards, the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) said on Monday. In a statement, the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) said that they arrested Badua in Quezon City on April 11 by virtue of a warrant of arrest for violation of Section 4 (Libel) of Republic Act No. 10175 or Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012 issued by the Quezon City Regional Trial Court Branch 90 on Dec. 16, 2019.
