Scientists Urge Removal of Algae from Lithuanian Beaches
An unusual amount of algae has washed ashore near Klaipėda and Palanga in Lithuania. Scientists are calling on coastal municipalities to promptly remove the algae to prevent bacterial growth and unpleasant odors.
