UM’s Akheem Mesidor, a rising NFL draft prospect, credits Dolphins great Jason Taylor

Jason Taylor, the Miami Dolphins great and NFL Hall of Fame defensive end, already has a standout legacy in South Florida as a player. With defensive end Rueben Bain largely expected to be a top-10 pick, along with Miami offensive tackle Francis Mauigoa, UM’s prospect who could give Taylor’s unit two in the first 32 selections would be defensive end Akheem Mesidor.
