Lynx Bardi Sets Czech Record, Travels Over 160 km from Šumava to Krušné Hory

The young lynx Bardi has set an unprecedented record in the Czech Republic, traveling at least 160 kilometers as the crow flies from Šumava to the Krušné Hory mountains. Conservationists describe his journey as the longest documented migration of a lynx in the country.

Mladý rys Bardi překonal vzdálenost, jaká nemá v Česku obdoby. Ze Šumavy se vydal na sever země a po cestě dlouhé vzdušnou čarou nejméně 160 kilometrů dorazil až do Krušných hor. Ochránci přírody jeho putování označují za nejdelší zdokumentovaný přesun rysa v historii tuzemského monitoringu.
