Vilniaus merui Valdui Benkunskui iškėlus idėją Seime pakeisti įstatymą, kad sostinės centre esančius Maskvos namus būtų galima nugriauti visuomeniniais pagrindais, darbus nemokamai atliekant verslui, Valstybinė teritorijų planavimo ir statybos inspekcija (VTPSI) teigia negalinti priimti tokios paramos, mat ji prižiūri ir kontroliuoja bendroves, kurios minėtą paramą teiktų.
