Wild Rabbits Reintroduced in Côa Valley, Portugal
Rewilding Portugal has reintroduced 17 wild rabbits into the Grande Vale do Côa, aiming to increase prey availability and create suitable conditions for the establishment of Iberian lynx populations in the territory, with projections of up to 70 rabbits by 2027.
