Maksim Znak Removes Solidarity Banner After Release from Belarusian Prison
After nearly five years of imprisonment in Belarus, lawyer, writer, and musician Maksim Znak, upon his release, removed a banner with his image that had been displayed outside the Belarusian embassy in Vilnius, symbolizing solidarity with political prisoners.
