Českoněmecká rodina žila v Sudetech. Na začátku 2. světové války rodiče s dcerou utekli před nacisty. Na konci války chtěli Sověti maminku popravit, zachránila ji dcera. V 50. letech rodiče i dcera putovali do vězení, ukrývali západního agenta.
