Former Staříč Mine's Concrete Tower Demolished in Czech Republic
Pyrotechnicians in the Czech Republic are set to demolish a 75-meter, 20,000-ton concrete skip tower at the former Staříč mine near Frýdek-Místek using over 140 kilograms of explosives, marking a continuation of the site's liquidation nearly nine years after black coal mining ceased.
