Rats & flies at Mumbai's iconic ice cream shop, food licence suspended

The state FDA suspended K Rustom & Co's food licence due to serious hygiene violations. Inspectors found rats, flies, and expired products on the premises. This suspension is part of a statewide food safety drive targeting eateries. Other establishments also faced licence suspensions and improvement notices for violations. Banned food products and other items worth lakhs were also seized during the raids.
