‘I thought he was only trying to scare me’: CJP protester recalls being shot in face by pellet gun

A 25-year-old CJP protester, Irshad Shaikh, who was allegedly hit by pellet gun fire during the ‘Sansad Chalo’ march, recalled the moments after he was injured near Jantar Mantar. Shaikh alleged an RAF staffer fired at him after clashes broke out. He suffered pellet injuries to his face, neck and upper body and underwent surgery.
