Ousted state agency boss ordered not to name third parties after reference to alleged blackmail attempt by senator

A senator “intervened” to see if a promotion for an Inland Fisheries employee who was to be a “key witness” in a garda probe into alleged fraud in the organisation could be blocked, its ousted former CEO has said.
