Man throws acid at Class 6 girl on way home from school in Ahilyanagar

A 13-year-old girl in Nashik suffered severe facial burns after an unidentified assailant threw acid at her while she was cycling home from school. Police have registered an FIR and formed teams to identify the culprit by reviewing CCTV footage. The government has pledged financial aid and full treatment costs for the victim.
