Dolphin spotted in Venice's Grand Canal

(ANSA) - ROME, AUG 13 - A dolphin was spotted in Venice's Grand Canal Thursday prompting the mayor to appeal to ensure its safety. The animal was reported this morning in the Grand Canal, much to the delight of tourists and residents. Venice's Mayor, Simone Venturini, shared a video of the sighting on his social media channels, urging boaters in the waters of the historic center to exercise utmost caution to protect the animal's safety.
