DSCC distributes Eid allowances to imams-muezzins, sanitation workers. The Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) has distributed Eid allowances to imams-muezzins and sanitation workers of its various mosques and markets. The distribution program was held at the DSCC Nagar Bhaban on Tuesday. DSCC Mayor Sheikh Fazle Noor Taposh inaugurated the program. Speaking on the occasion, the Mayor said that the DSCC is committed to ensuring the welfare of its employees. He also urged the imams-muezzins and sanitation workers to perform their duties with sincerity and dedication. The allowances are being distributed as part of the DSCC's Eid-ul-Fitr welfare program. The program aims to provide financial assistance to the less fortunate members of the community during the festive season. The DSCC has also arranged for special prayers and meals for the imams-muezzins and sanitation workers on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr. The corporation has also taken steps to ensure that all mosques and markets under its jurisdiction are clean and well-maintained during the festive period.
