Dublin City Council Purchases Guest House for Homeless Accommodation

Dublin City Council has acquired Avondale House, a 20-bedroom guest house, for €6 million to provide emergency housing for the homeless, stating the investment will pay for itself due to the high cost of existing homeless accommodation.
