Moldova Proposes Higher Taxes on Banks, Tobacco, Alcohol, and Gambling
The Moldovan government is set to unveil a new fiscal policy today, which includes proposals for a 50% increase in taxes on bank profits, as well as higher taxes on tobacco, alcohol, and gambling. The plan also features a reduction in labor taxation and changes to the VAT regime.
