Múte B. Egede has been appointed as the new Foreign Minister of Greenland, as announced by Jens-Frederik Nielsen, chairman of Greenland's national government. He succeeds Vivian Motzfeldt, whose party, Siumut, withdrew from the government in March.

Vivian Motzfeldt gegndi embættinu þar til flokkur hennar, Siumut, sagði sig úr stjórn landsins í mars. Eftir það sagði hún skilið við flokkinn.
