Catania airport in wrong place says Musumeci after Etna disruption

(ANSA) - ROME, AUG 12 - Civil Protection Minister Nello Musumeci said Wednesday that Catania airport is in the wrong place with the facility closed again at least until 18:00 after days of disruption caused by volcanic ash from Mt Etna eruptions. He also said he tried unsuccessfully to get the airport moved when he was the president of the province of Catania between 1994 and 2003.
