UNICEF Highlights Mozambique as Example for Water Financing

UNICEF has praised Mozambique as a model for water financing, noting that the country's adopted mechanism has successfully increased household water connections and strengthened the sustainability of water services, even as 2.1 billion people globally lack access to safely managed drinking water.
