Pope Leo XVI to Commemorate Migrant Deaths on Lampedusa Instead of US Independence Day
The first US-born Pope, Leo XVI, will not celebrate US Independence Day in his home country but will instead be on the Italian island of Lampedusa to commemorate drowned boat migrants.
